Job Title: eSgoil Secondary

Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar is seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary School Teacher to join our eSgoil team. As a key member of our online learning community, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to students across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive online lessons to students in Secondary 1-6
  • Develop and implement curriculum-aligned learning materials using Microsoft Teams and Glow
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on the effective use of digital tools and platforms
  • Collaborate with other teachers and education professionals to share best practices and ideas
  • Contribute to the development of eSgoil's online learning community and resources

Requirements:

  • GTCS registration and a strong understanding of the Scottish curriculum
  • Experience in teaching Secondary 1-6 and using digital tools to enhance learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
