The Role
We are currently hiring for a Legal Cashier to work from our office in Manchester. This role is based in our Manchester office, and we offer a hybrid working arrangement with 2 or 3 days working from the office and 2 or 3 days from home.
Responsibilities
- Provide cashiering support and analysis for the firm across all cashiering duties including cash allocations and payments (BACS/faster payments/CHAPs/cheques)
- Prepare and authorise online electronic bank transfers, CHAPS, BACS and Faster Payment
- Assist with cheques to be produced for local and regional offices
- Consider all new requested information in line with agreed Service Standards/ISO Procedures and SAR requirements
- Monitor and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions
- Support with the management of the cashiering queries inbox ensuring timely and accurate responses are delivered to stakeholders
Requirements
- Demonstrable legal cashiering experience, however may also consider individuals with experience working within a busy finance role
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Detail oriented approach with significant emphasis on achieving a high quality of work
- A confident user of Microsoft Excel to intermediary level
