Job Title: Culinary Expert for Defence Establishments

We are seeking an ambitious and skilled Chef to join our team on a part-time basis, working 25 hours per week. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that exceeds our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
  • Overseeing and implementing menu changes to meet the evolving tastes of our clientele.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our food services by analyzing customer feedback and market trends.
  • Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts that cater to diverse client needs.
  • Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image through exceptional service delivery.
  • Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked and ensure efficient operations.
  • Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
  • Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification in culinary arts.
  • Have experience supervising a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Have experience in a similar Chef role, preferably within the defence sector.
  • Hold a Food Hygiene certificate to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Have a flexible approach to working and be able to adapt to changing priorities.

Salary:

£25-30 per hour (estimated salary based on location and job requirements)
