About the Role

This Teaching Assistant position is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work in a KS1 classroom in Kensington and Chelsea. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about education and supporting students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment in accordance with lesson plans.
  • Use strategies under the direction of the teacher to support pupils to achieve learning goals.
  • Monitor pupils' responses to learning activities and accurately record and feedback to the teacher as directed.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs and a passion for making a positive impact on their lives. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team.

Requirements
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy.
  • A CV that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained.
  • A valid right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to attend a registration interview.
