Supporting Early Learning in Kensington

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team in Kensington & Chelsea. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities that promote learning through play.
ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of this role include:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities that meet the needs of all children.
- Assisting with phonics, early numeracy, and social development to help children build strong foundational skills.
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students, ensuring they stay engaged and make progress in their learning.
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and welcoming classroom environment for all children.
- Observing and documenting children's development to support their learning journeys.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and a passion for working with young children.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
- Experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or similar setting (desirable but not essential).
The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum. Successful candidates will also receive a comprehensive benefits package including access to training and development opportunities.
