About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to our clinical and secretarial teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical and secretarial teams, including coordinating emails and incoming calls.
  • Assist with day-to-day administration workload, including booking patient appointments and managing administrative tasks.
  • Develop and maintain effective administrative systems and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external stakeholders to provide excellent customer service.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Good all-round secretarial knowledge of office practice and procedures.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member and independently.
  • Ability to organize work and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent telephone manner and listening skills.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to learn new skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, with audio typing experience (RSA II or equivalent).
