We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Category Professional Services to support the Category Director in developing and delivering the category strategy across the shared service for partner Trusts. This role will be instrumental in driving transformational change and achieving our ambitious targets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of the Professional Services Category Strategy, ensuring alignment with NWL PS strategy and corporate objectives. They will also be responsible for defining the Commercial Strategy for each sourcing project, including clear sourcing outcomes and contract definitions.

The post holder will contribute to elements of the overall commercial lifecycle, including Category Strategy and Category policy development, and will work closely with the businesses to deliver timely and effective support, guidance, and expertise.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Category plans for key spend areas and transformation programs, and will work closely with the Category Manager to ensure effective line management and category strategy implementation.
