As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering all aspects of the departmental training program.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the discipline training program, including competency assessments, generic and specialist portfolios, and other formal qualifications.
- Facilitate compliance with performance development reviews and mandatory training in conjunction with the performance section manager.
- Develop and maintain external links with training providers and universities.
- Attend external training and meetings, incorporating learning into network service improvements.
- Organize, prepare, and deliver formal training sessions for staff in the discipline.

As a Cellular Pathology Training Section Manager/Trainee Section Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of services as part of the Section Manager team.
Key Requirements- Completion of IBMS Specialist Diploma or equivalent is required and must be stated in the application.
- Completion of a level 7 qualification (MSc. IBMS HSD or equivalent) is essential for a Band 7 Section Manager post. Applications are also invited from candidates who are working towards this.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work well in a team and autonomously when needed. They will also have a strong understanding of quality management systems and be proficient in the use of the Quality Management system.
