Pathology Section Manager

Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Service (CWPS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the Cellular Pathology service. As a Pathology Section Manager, you will be responsible for developing a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring high-quality services, and maintaining accreditation standards.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate the discipline Quality Management system, including audits, document review, and control.
- Lead the discipline to maintain UKAS accreditation to ISO 15189 and HTA standards.
- Manage Datix risks and CAE.
- Collect, interpret, and collate data for Quality meetings.
This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover secondment. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to maintain HTA accreditation and lead the discipline to maintain UKAS accreditation to ISO 15189 standards. You will also be responsible for developing a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring high-quality services.
