Mental Health and Wellbeing Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Mental Health and Wellbeing Transition Officer. As a key member of our support services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transition of learners with mental health and/or safeguarding needs.
Working closely with our students, teachers, and support staff, you will provide high-quality support services to help learners achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth transition of learners with mental health and/or safeguarding needs from schools or other settings into Coleg Cambria
- Support learners from the college into further education
- Work collaboratively with team members at all levels to provide high-quality support services
Requirements:
- Level 3 or above in a relevant mental health or wellbeing qualification
- Proven experience of working with young people with mental ill health
- Proven administrative and organisational skills, including experience of handling confidential information
- Able to demonstrate personal resilience in order to cope with a range of difficult situations
- Competent digital literacy skills
- Be able to develop and use a range of teaching and learning techniques
