Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive and specialist care to patients undergoing bariatric surgery, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care.
- Lead and develop education, training, and research initiatives related to bariatric surgery nursing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and continuity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to bariatric surgery care.
- Current NMC Nurse Adult registration.
- Experience in bariatric surgery nursing or a related specialty.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of bariatric surgery and related healthcare policies and procedures.
