We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at 255 Stroud Road in Gloucester. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Behaviours of concern, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health, Epilepsy, and Complex Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals, promoting dignity and independence.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals using various communication methods.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and household activities.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of support plans.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
  • Lead and support less experienced staff to ensure best practice and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of supporting individuals with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, or Challenging Behaviour.
  • Basic literacy and numerical skills (GCSE level or equivalent).
  • Ongoing commitment to personal development and training.
