The opportunity to play a pivotal role within an established Product Assurance team at MBDA UK Ltd has arisen. As an Electronic Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be embedded within the Electronic Engineering department, ensuring all core Product Assurance activities are met and working closely with Major Project Product Assurance Managers across the business.

Your primary focus will be on preventing/minimising product non-conformance, supporting smooth equipment delivery, assuring reliable products, and increasing customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing, contributing to, and maintaining Equipment Quality planning documentation.
  • Maintaining compliance to Electronic Engineering BMS procedures.
  • Identifying, communicating, and mitigating Quality risks and issues for in-house equipment, aiming to reduce risk and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Participating in engineering process improvement and facilitating local flash audits to provide compliance and process improvement ideas.
  • Planning and facilitating quality-focused micro-training to increase quality process awareness, efficiencies, and competencies within the engineering team.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or Quality Assurance or considerable previous experience in a related role.
  • Experienced quality professionals, preferably within Electronic Engineering, with a proven track record in Quality Assurance.
  • Practitioner of current QA problem-solving and improvement methods (8D, RCA, DMAIC, etc.).

MBDA UK Ltd offers a competitive salary of circa £45,000 depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
