Job Title: Head of Procurement Excellence

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Procurement Excellence to join our team at Adecco UK Limited. As a key member of our procurement leadership team, you will be responsible for driving procurement excellence and sustainability across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies that align with our organization's strategic goals.
  • Lead the development of category management plans and oversee the activities of the supply chain to ensure alignment with our sustainability goals.
  • Drive capability development within the procurement function and ensure that talent, processes, and systems are in place to deliver effective procurement outcomes.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals and enhance the reputation of the procurement function through networking and building value-adding relationships.
  • Provide strategic insight and actionable proposals based on external best practices and innovation to improve supply chain resilience and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Passion for sustainability goals and leveraging technology and innovation for efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Deep knowledge of procurement tools, techniques, and processes such as Source to Pay (S2P) and contract management.
  • Commercial awareness and strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and certifications, such as CIPS.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
