We are seeking an experienced Electrical Safety Specialist to join our team at VINCI Facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of electrical systems across our sites in Surrey and Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure compliance with JSP375 (Management of Health and Safety in Defence)
* Assess the competence of Skilled Persons and direct them to relevant tasks
* Produce high-quality Risk Assessments and Method Statements
* Provide technical support and advice to the site team and Supply Chain
* Record tasks against assets in the system and ensure all documentation is completed and distributed
* Manage project work and confer with the Billable Works team
* Review site risk registers and follow maintenance and management processes
* Reduce the number of corrective actions (CARs) raised and close existing CARs within agreed timescales
* Liaise with Authorised Engineers and maintain accurate records of site attendance and activities
* Identify opportunities to support the MoD's carbon reduction targets
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver the requirements of JSP375
* Understand operational priorities and develop close working relationships with DIO and end users
* Support the Helpdesk in responding to requests for professional and technical advice
* Arrange training and provide supervision, assessment, and coaching for Skilled Persons
* Manage cost and stakeholder expectation through excellent communication and sound commercial decisions

Essential Qualifications/Skills

* Electrician Technical HNC/HND
* City and Guilds 18th Edition
* ECS Card
