Senior Loans Administration Specialist

Martis Search is representing a global Financial Services company to hire a Senior Loans Administration Analyst to join their Investment Operations team.
The role is a permanent position and reports into a senior Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will have a background in Loans Operations and supervisory/management experience within Loans Operations.
The person will be responsible for performing day-to-day Loans Operations tasks, overseeing the responsibilities of other Loans Operations staff, and managing the smooth operation of the company's Loans department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established, but growing West End based Institutional Asset Manager.
The role will involve working on various Loans Operations projects, streamlining current processes, and implementing new ideas. The candidate should be able to work quickly and efficiently, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

About the Job
- Manage priorities and workloads for themselves and other team members
- Work with third-party loan administrators to set rates, interest dates, and interest payments
- Collaborate with the company's legal and investment teams on debt documentation
- Manage the investment closing process for all debt investments
- Monitor receipt of covenant reporting information
- Provide reporting on the company's debt portfolio
- Be an advisor to the wider company on the debt portfolio
- Identify and implement improvements to existing processes
About You
- Experience as a team leader within a loan administration function at a financial institution
- In-depth technical knowledge of debt products and loan administration processes
- Ability to multi-task and balance team activities without losing sight of deadlines
- Ability to proactively consult with stakeholders and work with them to find solutions
- Expert ability to navigate Excel and present data in understandable ways
- Experience working with emerging markets, particularly India, would be advantageous
Salary
£70,000 - £93,600 per annum, plus a good holiday allowance, pension, and other benefits.
