Job Title: Tooling Engineer

ACR Recruitment and Training Ltd is seeking a skilled Tooling Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in Coventry. This role involves ensuring components are produced correctly by supplying accurate tooling to operatives.

Candidates must have previous proven experience as a Tooling Engineer in a similar role to apply for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring machine processes are running at optimum efficiency in regards to tooling required
  • Supporting and advising other employees when required in regards to tooling
  • Ensuring all operations are carried out efficiently and accurately to customers' requirements, drawing tolerance, and specifications
  • Effective and regular communication with CNC supervisors and programme writers ensuring loading board instructions are accurate and up-to-date
  • Making sure all tooling requirements are in place before components are loaded onto machines
  • Ensuring tooling set up sheets and kitting lists are adhered to and assisting in developing company procedures
  • Setting up sheets and kitting lists are edited to incorporate latest standards and instructions where necessary
  • Providing feedback to line managers and supervisors and changes to programmers before changing masters
  • Ensuring tooling is set correctly and accurately ready for use by operators
  • Making sure H&S rules and regulations are adhered to at all times
