Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Data and Statistics to join our team at the Regulator of Social Housing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and developing our data collection function, ensuring timely and accurate data to support our regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of our data collection function, ensuring it meets the needs of our regulatory standards
- Provide expert advice and guidance on complex data and analytical issues
- Manage key relationships with external providers and stakeholders
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to support our data requirements
- Ensure accurate and timely collection of business-critical data
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience in providing statistical analysis, delivering high-quality research and analysis, and communicating complex findings. You will also have experience in project management, working to deliver complex projects to time and budget, and strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
What We Offer
We operate a hybrid model of working, with a mix of office and home working. Our Manchester office will be relocating during 2024/25, but will remain within the city centre. We offer a range of flexible working arrangements and staff can benefit from working from home for part of their hours. Most roles involve some travel within England between our offices, with some roles also involving onsite visits to social housing providers.
