About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bourton Hall LTD. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing exceptional support to our chefs and contributing to the delivery of outstanding dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the kitchen to the highest standards, ensuring it is ready for the next day
- Maintain the food storage areas, including freezers and refrigerators, to ensure food safety and quality
- Receive and organize deliveries, ensuring they are stored and prepared for use
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment, and load them into the dishwasher
- Remove kitchen waste and dispose of it properly
- Clean and maintain cooking equipment, including cookers, pots, and food mixers
- Support the Chef in basic food preparation, such as cutting ingredients, peeling, and washing food items
- Provide assistance to chefs as needed, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen
Requirements
- No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided
