Job Title: ACCA Finance Analyst Graduate Apprentice

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ACCA Finance Analyst Graduate Apprentice to join our team at Davies Group Ltd. As a key member of our Financial Planning and Analysis team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis in providing financial support and insights to operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Provide high-quality financial analysis and reporting to operational managers, identifying opportunities to enhance gross margin and providing challenge to ensure optimal financial performance.
  2. Bid and Tender Support: Assist operational teams in bid and tender processes, including pricing discussions and challenge to ensure required gross margin is maintained.
  3. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Produce monthly financial reporting, forecasts, and annual budgets for operational performance, collaborating closely with operational teams to challenge and validate these forecasts.
  4. Ad Hoc Projects: Support the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis in ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

  • ACCA qualification or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Availability to attend the Bolton or Manchester office is required.
