Mental Health Support Assistant Role

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic individual to join our team as a Mental Health Support Assistant at a specialist school near Oxford. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with teachers and specialist staff to provide emotional and social support to students with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Support students with anxiety, attachment issues, post-traumatic stress, depression, and anger
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation to enhance student learning
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for all students
