About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team at Sheridan Maine South. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and manage financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow projections for multiple entities.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the Group, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Inter-Company Reconciliations: Conduct regular inter-company reconciliations and manage Group activities to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Staff Development: Provide training and development opportunities to staff, promoting their growth and progression within the company.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including VAT returns, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience in leading a team, including managing staff progression and development.
  • Skills: Proactive and motivated work ethic, with the drive and enthusiasm to improve processes and contribute to business growth.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Professionalism: Professional attitude, with an appreciation of wider business objectives and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced systems and Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
