Maintenance Engineer Role: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong mechanical bias. Key Responsibilities:

* Conducting planned and preventative maintenance on plant machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic controlled machinery
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification on a variety of pressing and blow moulding machinery
* Liaising with and shadowing existing engineering team during the initial 6-month period to learn the machinery on site and develop skills to maintain and repair production machines
* Collaborating with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the plant

Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years' worth of experience as a mechanical bias engineer within a manufacturing environment
* Previous experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic machinery
* In-depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery
* Relevant mechanical/electrical qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ's/17th/18th edition) - advantageous
