About the Role

We are seeking an experienced National Account Development Manager to join our team at The Advocate Group. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue through strategic account management and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Account Growth Strategies: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute account growth strategies, focusing on increasing product range and distribution within existing accounts, and driving sales and profitability growth.
  • Build and Maintain Strong Customer Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at our target accounts, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs and developing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the UK Discounter and Wholesale channel, leveraging your expertise and network to drive growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product teams, to ensure alignment and effective execution of account growth strategies.
  • Monitor and Analyze Business Performance: Regularly monitor and analyze business performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to drive growth and profitability.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record in Account Management and Business Development: A minimum of 3 years of experience in account management and business development, with a proven track record of driving growth and revenue.
  • Strong Commercial Acumen and Business Awareness: A deep understanding of the wholesale and discount channel, with a strong commercial acumen and business awareness.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinker with a Results-Oriented Mindset: A strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, able to develop and execute effective account growth strategies and drive business results.
