About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Horticulture Apprentice. As an apprentice, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our public parks and green spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of parks and green spaces, including litter picking, bin emptying, and gardening tasks.
  • Learn and develop skills in horticulture, including planting, pruning, and lawn maintenance.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to gain a Level 2 qualification in Horticulture Operative.

Requirements

  • Good attention to detail and ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Keen interest and passion for horticulture and landscaping.
  • Good work ethic and commitment to gaining qualifications and learning on the job.
