Support Worker Opportunity at Orwell Housing

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Talmash Gardens in Ipswich. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.

About the Role:

  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support individuals to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for individuals.

Person Specification:

  • Care Certificate, is desirable.
  • QCF Level 2 in Health and Social care or equivalent, is desirable.
  • Full driving licence, is desirable, but not essential.

Please note that Orwell Housing Association does not provide visa sponsorship. You must be eligible to work in the UK to apply. You will be required to provide the relevant right to work documentation if successfully appointed to the role.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check. All new arrivals to the UK must also provide a Statement of Good Conduct (SOGC).
