About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Care Support Worker to join our team in Ipswich. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social and emotional support to individuals in their homes and local communities
  • Support with personal care, including personal hygiene needs
  • Assist with shopping and budgeting
  • Build and maintain relationships with friends and family of our residents
  • Perform household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Accompany individuals on day trips and outings, promoting independence and vocational training
Requirements
  • Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, including Autism (full training provided)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a calm and empathetic manner
  • Computer literacy
  • Car driver desirable but not essential
