About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team in Stockport. As a member of the multi-disciplinary Healthy Young Minds service, you will work as part of the integrated Mental Health Support Team to support schools across the borough.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate qualification in CYP Psychological Wellbeing Practice or EMHP, completion of the postgraduate certificate in supervisory skills, and significant post-qualification experience in mental health services. They should also have good working knowledge of evidence-based interventions for Children and Young People, as well as experience of delivering groups to CYP and managing within various community settings.

About the Role:
This is a Band 6/7 post that offers a competitive salary of £45,053 - £61,618 per annum. The role involves contributing to the development and provision of services to children and young people, performing all aspects of the role in accordance with Trust policies and national bodies, and engaging in managerial and clinical supervision. Additionally, you will work with a defined caseload of service users, providing assessment, care planning, and care delivery for those with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
* Contributing to the development and provision of services to children and young people
* Performing all aspects of the role in accordance with Trust policies and national bodies
* Engaging in managerial and clinical supervision
* Working with a defined caseload of service users, providing assessment, care planning, and care delivery for those with mild to moderate mental health difficulties
* Identifying and developing strategies to manage risk to the child and others in line with Pennine Care and CAMHS procedures and protocols
* Providing specialist advice to other members of staff and trainees, and acting as a role model
* Liaising with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and outside agencies in the implementation of patient care
* Ensuring that care activities are research-based and in keeping with changes in the field of activity
* Contributing to the development of ideas and innovative practice, and proposing changes to protocols and procedures within the mental health support team and CAMHS where required
* Initiating and participating in departmental audit as requested by the Team Manager or Quality Improvement Lead
* Ensuring the collection of relevant information required by Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust
* Participating in the Duty rota on a weekly basis
* Providing and entering data for local information management systems
* Contributing to peer supervision within community CAMHS
* Receiving regular clinical management and, when required, Safeguarding supervision, and participating in appraisal
* Participating in the development of education and training programmes
* Maintaining own education and awareness of current developments within CAMHS
