Job Summary:
CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Work Professional to join our team as a Senior Practitioner. In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking assessments and providing social work services to users and carers in accordance with the council's statutory duties and powers under legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake assessments and social work services to users and carers in accordance with the council's statutory duties and powers under legislation.
- Work in accordance with the guidelines set out by local government and make appropriate use of Group and independent resources.
- Participate in duty team/rota and ensure cases within the service are progressed in a timely manner.
- Safeguard the most vulnerable children and ensure up-to-date research informs all interventions.
- Participate in duty team/rota, completing contacts, referrals, and undertaking Section 47 enquiries and child and family assessments.
- Undertake Care Proceedings and represent the Local Authority at Court.
Requirements:
- Extensive Court experience is essential for this role.
- Enhanced DBS.
