Job Title: Functional Assessor

We are seeking a skilled Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Clinical Healthcare Professional, you will play a vital role in providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for claimants of the Governments disability allowance.


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our client, who provides healthcare services to individuals across the UK. This is an exciting chance to transition into a new career path and utilize your clinical expertise in a different way.


We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.


In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough medical assessments to determine eligibility for disability benefits;
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals and claimants;
  • Providing detailed reports and recommendations based on assessment findings;

Please note that all applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic;
  • Have at least 2 years' experience in a relevant clinical role;
  • Hold a valid DBS certificate;
