Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team at Encore Global. As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for the technical delivery of events, working independently or leading a small team of technicians. Your expertise in sound production will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each project is completed to a high standard.
  • Lead specific projects from initial brief to final delivery, producing documentation and guidelines detailing best practices and technical drawings.
  • Work independently or as part of a team, communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Determine and secure resources required to complete projects, monitoring project scope and adjusting as necessary.
  • Assist sales and operations teams in determining equipment needs and technical solutions.
  • Communicate project plans and manage client expectations, managing project changes and modifications.
  • Mentor team members on event execution and best practices, helping to improve knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Help establish technical best practices and production standards, conducting post-event debriefs to assess project delivery.
Requirements
  • 2-3+ years of sound technical experience in the AV industry.
  • Strong technical background, good written and oral communication skills, and familiarity with budgets and cost control.
  • MS Office experience required, with PowerPoint and Excel knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% may be required.
