Job Title: AV Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Technical Lead to join our team at Encore Global. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading technical projects and teams, ensuring the successful delivery of events and productions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in lighting and AV systems, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring that each project is completed to a high standard.

The role will involve leading specific projects from initial brief to final delivery, working independently and as part of a team, and producing documentation and guidelines detailing best practices and technical drawings.

You will also be responsible for managing client liaison and communications, determining and securing resources required to complete projects, and monitoring project scope throughout the event planning process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical projects and teams to ensure successful delivery of events and productions
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure each project is completed to a high standard
  • Produce documentation and guidelines detailing best practices and technical drawings
  • Manage client liaison and communications
  • Determine and secure resources required to complete projects
  • Monitor project scope throughout the event planning process
Requirements:
  • 2-3+ years of lighting technical experience in the AV industry
  • 2 years of in-house experience recommended (depending on direct experience and specialism)
  • Strong technical background in lighting and AV systems
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Familiarity with budgets and cost control
  • MS Office experience required with PowerPoint and Excel knowledge/experience preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 70% may be required
