Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Butler Rose. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, as well as providing financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with country directors to discuss business performance and produce variances as required
  • End-to-end accounts production for multiple European entities, ensuring accurate and consistent monthly reporting, YTD results, and preparation of month-end journals, including depreciation, prepayments, and accruals
  • Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and signed off monthly to month-end deadlines
  • Ensure local statutory and tax compliance is adhered to
  • Work with the teams within your territories to produce annual budgets
  • Production of year-end audit files, including draft statutory accounts for each of your EMEA entities
  • Compliance: Ensure all tax and fiscal requirements are filed within statutory deadlines

Requirements:

  • Newly Qualified ACCA or CIMA
  • Self-starter with the ability to work on their own initiative
  • Demonstrable experience analyzing and manipulating large data sets
  • Available at no more than one week's notice
