Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people.

About the Role:
  • Support children and young people in all aspects of daily life, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Attend weekend activities, holidays, and trips to support the children's interests and development.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to the young people, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines to ensure the safety of the young people.
  • Support and learn from challenging behaviors, minimizing incidents and promoting positive outcomes.
Requirements:
  • A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children or in a similar Social Care setting.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
