We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a Risk Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in daily reporting and monitoring of the metals and collateral markets, measuring the risk exposure of member and counterparty portfolios, and providing qualitative and quantitative input into the documentation of risk methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses
  • Conduct daily reporting and monitoring of the metals and collateral markets to identify potential risks
  • Measure and analyze the risk exposure of member and counterparty portfolios to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with the Head of Market Risk to develop and implement risk management strategies
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative input into the documentation of risk methodologies to ensure accuracy and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Recent financial risk experience, ideally in market or liquidity risk
  • Strong financial mathematics knowledge, including statistical analysis and modeling
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, SQL, and VBA
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
