This role offers a competitive salary of up to £43,000, negotiable based on experience, and a comprehensive package including a company car or £4850 car allowance, mileage covered, NMC fees paid, contributory pension scheme, private healthcare cover, and continuous opportunities for training and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct blood tests and toxicity assessments, ensuring accurate results and timely feedback to patients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Administer IV and oral chemotherapy medications, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Perform pump disconnections and line care, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide IM/SC injections, following strict infection control measures.
  • Work independently in the community while maintaining regular communication with the nursing team, fostering collaboration and support.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and therapies in oncology care, staying at the forefront of advancements.
Requirements:
  • An active NMC Pin as a Registered RGN Nurse, demonstrating commitment to professional development.
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy, showcasing expertise and adaptability.
  • Skills in cannulation and venepuncture, essential for effective treatment delivery.
  • A valid driving licence, enabling easy travel between patient locations.
  • A SACT Passport or equivalent qualification, evidencing competence in administering chemotherapy.
