Publishing Director Opportunity

Think Selection, a leading publishing recruitment specialist, is partnering with a prestigious London-based book publishing house to find a highly skilled Publishing Director to lead their children's books division.

About the Role:

  • Oversee a growing division of successful children's book imprints, directing and shaping the lists.
  • Lead a team of editorial directors and designers, driving publishing strategy and creating new products for UK and international markets.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to expand the division's reach and revenue.
  • Collaborate with authors, illustrators, and designers to acquire and commission high-quality children's books.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading creative teams and overseeing children's book publishing divisions.
  • Excellent track record of acquiring and commissioning children's books, with a deep understanding of the market.
