Job Title: Customer Support Specialist

At Point of Rental Software, we're seeking a skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As a leader in rental software, we empower our customers and employees through principled decision making, innovative products, and care for all we meet.

The ideal candidate will provide application/business support to our customers, leveraging their expertise in software and industry knowledge to deliver exceptional service. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, this role involves providing telephone and email support, logging and prioritizing calls, and ensuring timely updates to our CRM system.

We're looking for a proactive individual who can identify areas for improvement and contribute to the development of our Service Desk procedures and knowledge base. If you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and a strong understanding of software and business processes, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide telephone and email support to external customers and colleagues
  • Log, prioritize, and act on calls via our CRM system
  • Ensure timely updates to our CRM system
  • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to Service Desk procedures and knowledge base
  • Document software features and business processes
Requirements:
  • Experience in 1st Line Support or Server Support role
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Server 2003 and 2008, and Terminal Services (RDP)
  • Windows server shares and permissions
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments and proficient problem-solving skills
  • Good customer service skills and confidence on the phone
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of German, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese
  • SQL Server and basic understanding of TSQL queries
  • Accounting Systems including Sage Line 50, Sage 200, QuickBooks, Salesforce, Pegasus Opera, Exchequer, and Access Dimensions
  • Experience with mobile data devices
