Job Title: Graduate SEND Support

We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate graduates to work in SEND schools across South Yorkshire. If you have a degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, Education, or Sports, and a passion for working with and supporting children, you have the skills we are looking for.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work at a range of SEND schools providing support for students with additional needs to ensure they receive the best education and are given an equal opportunity to succeed outside of the classroom. Initially, you will work on a day-to-day basis, with the option for a school to offer you a long-term position if required.

The Schools:

You will work with multiple SEND schools across South Yorkshire and Chesterfield, supporting students with a range of needs, including ASC, PMLD, SEMH, and SLD. You will be trusted to ensure the safety, confidentiality, and progress of the pupils.

Requirements:
  • Adaptability, motivation, and a commitment to providing a caring and exciting learning environment.
  • Transferable skills, such as those gained through studying Education, Psychology, Sociology, or other relevant subjects.
  • Desirable qualifications in Moving and Handling and/or Team Teach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent in some cases.
