We are looking for a highly skilled Sustainability Specialist to focus on the rail sector. As part of our team at Vital Human Resources, you will be based in Manchester with hybrid working options available.

Your key objectives will be to deliver strategic initiatives and provide technical support to ensure environmental and sustainability goals are achieved. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with business unit leads to minimize environmental impact.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards through ongoing training and development.
  • Providing expert advice on environmental matters and serving as a point of contact for technical queries.
  • Maintaining accurate records of environmental performance and recommending improvements.
  • Identifying and addressing potential environmental risks and opportunities.

This role offers an attractive salary package, estimated to be in the range of £52,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are committed to sustainability and possess relevant expertise in the rail sector, we encourage you to apply.
