Job Description

\

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing engagement team as a Career Development Coordinator. This position would suit someone with strong organisational skills and who has a genuine interest in developing the careers of others.

\

As a Career Development Coordinator, you will support on external conversations with colleges, training providers, and combined authorities in regards to learners.

\

You will ensure that you follow bootcamp/AEB criteria for learners in each region, follow the correct procedures for IAG/Enrolment, create candidate pools of learners to go onto our short rail courses, and ensure learners are supported throughout their course.

\

Other responsibilities include creating relevant learner and trainer packs, supporting employer and learner engagement teams with paperwork and admin, attending job fairs across the country within reason, liaising with employers/sponsors for learner shifts/pay/start dates if needed, liaising with the employer engagement team for job outcomes and evidence, uploading learner information to learner portals, ensuring learners are turning up to courses and we have all the right information, ensuring learners all have the correct PPE in place, understanding safeguarding policies and procedures, being the main contact for the learners, and being responsible for learner post-course administration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

\

A minimum of 3 years' administration experience within a training administration and/or customer service environment is required.

\

Demonstrate a high degree of initiative, resourcefulness, flexibility, and self-motivation. Ability to manage a busy workload, communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, effective planner and organiser, strong attention to detail, and flexible personality and ability to handle & embrace changes in planner/daily schedule are essential.

\

IAG Qualification and Full Driving License are also necessary for this role.
