About the Role

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Gastroenterology department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care to patients with gastrointestinal diseases, including diagnosis, treatment, and management.
  • Work closely with other consultants and multidisciplinary teams to develop and improve Gastroenterology services.
  • Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs, including supervising junior doctors and medical learners.
  • Contribute to clinical audit, risk management, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical developments and best practices in Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine.
