About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gastroenterology Specialist to join our dynamic team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Physician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Gastroenterology services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, and pancreatic disease.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in the development of clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure best practice in Gastroenterology.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals in Gastroenterology.
  • Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of Gastroenterology and improve patient care.
