About the Role

At Gallagher, we are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our global security architecture and engineering function. This role will serve as a key technical resource in our Global Cyber and Information Security (GCIS) organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain security architecture frameworks, design patterns, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure solutions that meet business requirements while minimizing risk.
  • Assess and monitor the global security architecture to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and balance costs.
  • Design and implement security technologies and solutions to protect our systems and data from cyber threats.
  • Participate in proof-of-concept testing and provide in-depth analysis of proposed solutions to ensure they meet our security requirements.

About You
  • Have a strong background in cybersecurity, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Have experience in documenting reference architectures, standards, and position papers.
  • Be able to work in a regulated and globally distributed environment.
  • Have experience working with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP) and security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint protection, and identity and access management.
  • Have knowledge of security standards frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
