Job Overview

The Industrial Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial facilities in Chesterfield. This position requires strong planning and coordination skills to manage maintenance activities and optimize equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule preventative maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure efficient execution of tasks
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators for the maintenance function
  • Support the budgeting process for the department
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
  • Build and maintain relationships with external contractors and suppliers

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with CMMS, SAP or Shire
  • Deep understanding of industrial maintenance best practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
