About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bank Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Bank Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring they receive the best possible experience.

Your Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as personal care and medication management.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of well-being and happiness.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver person-centered care, respecting the individual needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Experience of caring for older people, with a strong understanding of their needs and preferences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and families.

Working Arrangements

This is a Bank position, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the care home. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, with a minimum of 12 hours per week.
