About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bank Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Bank Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring they receive the best possible experience.

Your Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as personal care and meal preparation.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of well-being and happiness.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful environment, promoting dignity and respect for all residents.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience of caring for older people, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and families.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.

Working Arrangements

This is a Bank position, which means you will work on an ad-hoc basis to provide cover for annual leave, sick leave, and other absences. Your working hours and days will vary, but you will have the flexibility to choose when you work and how many hours you want to commit to.
