About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Deputy Manager to join our team at The Refectory in Milford. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Pub Manager in leading our busy pub, managing services, planning events, and ensuring exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Support the Pub Manager in leading and developing the team, promoting a positive work environment and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales growth, improve profit margins, and enhance customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to drive business success.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or Restaurant Manager in a gastro pub, restaurant, bar, hotel, or similar hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
