LM RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS LTD | Penetration Testing Specialist - Cheltenham

We are seeking a highly skilled Penetration Testing Specialist to join our team in Cheltenham. As a penetration tester, you will be responsible for delivering complex projects that involve understanding emerging technologies, developing working prototypes, reverse engineering (static and dynamic), and testing software to identify implementation vulnerabilities. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with a range of tools and programming languages.

Some of the key requirements for this role include:

  • Network and Protocol analysis experience
  • RF protocols and using SDRs experience
  • Understanding of the TCP/IP stack
  • Dissector writing experience for Wireshark or any other protocol parsing
  • Familiarity with Android and/or iPhone Ecosystems
  • Mobile application development or AOSP build experience
  • Static and Dynamic Analysis of Mobile Applications including Frida experience
  • ARM Reverse Engineering experience
  • Firmware reversing experience from embedded systems on different architectures
  • Programming language experience (Python, C/C++, Java/Kotlin)
  • Embedded device development experience using C
  • Research and Proof of Concept experience

Your estimated salary is around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on your experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including promotions based on technical excellence, 25 days holiday per year, and free seasonal fruit and drinks.
