The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at JK Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing Continual Improvement programmes throughout the Manufacturing Operation. This will involve auditing and reporting on the effectiveness and performance of the Quality Management Systems throughout the facility.

Duties:

  1. As part of a team, perform various audits against predeclared schedules to ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015 and TS16949:2016 standards.
  2. Provide customer support both in the UK and abroad as required, ensuring timely resolution of customer concerns.
  3. Train, develop, and support the workforce to improve their understanding of the company's quality requirements, including PFMEA, Control Plans, 5S, and Lean Philosophy.
  4. Support the Quality Manager in the effective resolution of customer concerns and APQP activities.
  5. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as SMED and PPM reductions, to drive process excellence.
  6. Investigate concerns, assist in preventing repeat issues, and ensure correct quality tools are available to meet customer and plant expectations.
  7. Manage customer concerns and verify and report corrective actions, ensuring all required parties comply with the corrective actions in a timely manner.
  8. Monitor and analyze production data to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and maintain required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  9. Support calibration requirements and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

The Person:

  1. Good understanding of ISO9001:2015 and TS16949:2016 standards.
  2. Fully conversant in PFMEA, Control Plans, 5S, and Lean Philosophy.
  3. Ideally CMM conversant or trained in PcDmis.
  4. Ideally TS16949 internal auditor trained.
